Meet Aysha
I'm a public interest attorney, leader in local policy, and mom of two amazing little kids. Living in South San Francisco with my family has shown me both the incredible strength of our neighborhoods and the real challenges families face, especially housing insecurity and the struggle to afford childcare. I'm running for city council because I want to be part of the solutions that keep our community affordable, supportive, and vibrant—for today's residents as well as the next generation. In addition to chairing our Planning Commission, I work every day to help cities across the Bay Area address the housing crisis. I'm committed to helping South City remain a place where families and neighbors from all walks of life can put down roots and thrive. READ MORE
